Applicant’s ID must be checked by one of the following nominated Trustees: Ann Barlow: Monday a.m., Tuesday a.m., Wednesday p.m., Saturday a.m. Gwenfair Bayliss: Monday p.m. Wednesday p.m. Kate Towers: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday a.m. Sue Taylor: Wednesday a.m. Rachel Brockie: Thursday p.m. Sharon Chowns: Tuesday p.m. Melanie Charles: Tuesday p.m. Check sheet for nominated Trustees (please print on both sides) is here. Once your ID documents have been checked against your application, you will receive your DBS certificate.  It is of utmost importance that one of the nominated Trustee members has sight of the ORIGINAL CERTIFICATE to ensure that there are no disclosures which may make the applicant unsuitable to be involved with an RDA group. DBS done by another organization can be accepted as long as the check has be done in the last 6 months. The Group Safeguarding Officer will keep a record of all applications and the reference number of DBS disclosure certificates. Gwenfair Bayliss (Safeguarding Officer Abingdon RDA) - email All Volunteers must have completed a Volunteer Application form.  It is very important that this is signed, so unless you have a scanner, please do not email the completed form.  Bring the signed, completed form in to the tack room and put it in the appropriate drawer in the grey cabinet.  Download the form here. Over the age of 17, you will need to ask for referees.
